Just for fun, if you were pulling together the ultimate hot rod kit of basic parts, what components would be in that bag?

-Differential..........................early olds
-Engine................................early olds w/old hotrod stuff

Home made Chassis.(Chassis)
Mustang II. (suspension.)
9'' ford about 3:20 gear,(Differential.)
350,or 454 Chevy,(Engine.)
350,or 400. are a well built 700r.(Transmission)
Mustang II rack. (Steering.)

Front suspension....... Independent, wide based wishbones, with front wheel drive
Rear suspension ....... Jaguar IRS
Differentials................3.54 front diff (open), 4.11 rear diff (posi)
Engine.........................LS1 (light weight) supercharged, Whipple screw blower
Transmission...............4L60 four speed auto with X track transfer case
Steering......................Rack and pinion, power assisted

Chassis- Homemade out of 2X3 or 2X4 box tubing
Front suspension- tube straight axle
Rear suspension-coil over and ladder bar
Rear differential- 57 Pontiac
Trans- 700r4
engine-235 I-6
steering- cross steer

Chassis: 33/4 ford repro, with an 8 point roll cage for extra stiffness. Put a 33 sedan body on that.

Suspension: 4 link w/ coilovers rear, 6" dropped tube axle with coilovers and 4 bar.

Differential: narrowed Dana 60 with a locker and 5.86 gears

Engine: Carrol Shelby aluminum block 427 side oiler motor punched out to 526" with a Whipple supercharger., moved back in the frame about a foot. (So's I can be closer to it when I'm stabbin the gas.):thumbup:

Transmission: 5 speed lenco. ( real hotrods have a clutch)

Steering: 525 box and cross steer.

Frame: 32 Ford, boxed, Z"d in the rear.

Suspension: (front)4" dropped axle, split bones, reversed eye spring, 40 Ford cross spindle steering.
(rear) 57 Olds, 3.73 gears, 32 spring, 36 bones.

Engine: 57 Olds J-2 w/tri-power.

Trans: Cad-Lasalle top shift 3-speed.

Body: 32 Ford 5 window coupe, chopped 4", channeled the height of the frame.

Int: White tuck and roll

Front suspension....... Super Bell 4-5" drop tube and panhard rod with Wilwood discs, Posies semi-elliptical and 4 link

Rear suspension ....... 4 link with coilovers
Differentials................Ford 9", 3 something ratio
Engine.........................SBC 300-350HP (good street driver)
Transmission...............700r4 or TH350
Steering......................Vega with cross steer
