Pertronix Ignition...

Alright first off i will tell you what im workin on. The truck is a 89 f150 2wd used to be a 6 cylinder truck but i took the 6 out and put a carbd 302 in. I installed a pertronix ignition on it. Now since the truck used to be EFI where should i get the 12 volt source for my pertronix ignition. Should i run it off my fuse box?

12v supply

If you still have the old harness in the truck. I'd use the 12 v ign that was used for the six.es ign.
If not .I'd find a 12v supply that is activated when you turn the key to the ign position. Maybe install a relay that is fed from Battery voltage at the fuse box. That way you wont draw to much from some other circuit : and blow fuses. This is always a good way to isolate an added circuit.
