Dot to dot , big drive gear on passenger side,little drive gear on driver side, dot on cam at 6 o'clock dot on crank at 12 o'clock , and that is not to be construed as being #1 TDC firing , because if you rotate crank 360 degrees the cam dot will be at 12 o'clock also and the motor is still in time. Thus this is only cam to crank timing.
