Petronix ignitor gets 1+ from me
I lost spark on my '51 235 ( -6V still ) and after narrowing it down to the coil ( points checked, condensor checked, spare plug wires checked ), I broke down and ordered a petronix kit and matching flamethrower coil.. Installation went smooth as once you clean the points stuff out, it bolts in place of the points and can only go in 1 way, no need to check airgap or anything. no magnet ring on that kit. I topped it off with another set of reproduction plug wires.. pulled the choke, turned the key, and hit the button. 1/2 revoloution later, it was running.. On points it took a revoloution or 2 to fire off. When I get a chance, I'm going to wrap the wires in a cloth jacket so it looks original'ish.. It's running smoother than ever too
