I saw that car in Orlando I belive and we have another 55 up here that runs in Pro gas, I will try a little later but the guys here are much better than me at it. Gime some time and I'll see if I can hook you up.

A good friend of mine wants this to be done also, seems like a different year but it's an American. He just picked this up and wants to see it custom, weird coincidence.

I really stink at color change, lol. I think you may get the idea though from these. I didn't know how far you wanted to go but the moulding on the door / fender kinda stops you from adding something custom like doing the 55 side on it, which would be awesome IMO. Possibly a lower rocker treatment around the bottom and the lips of the wheelwells would work separated by a contrasting color pinstripe. My shot at it, coral is a little brite but can be toned down with any program the would deaturate a bit more.

hey i think if you were to bring the trim that is on the door back
past the door some and than come up to the window
you could make it like the old chevy and still paint it the same
and it would look good you also could get the tow tone look you
are looking for
i put up a pic to show what i was talking about

but thats just me
