I cheated on this one Martin. I picked my color by going to many car shows and talking to people with the same type of car. It just happened that the color (close) was the same color that turned everyones head on an almost identical ride. For some odd reason, I liked it too. I think that is one of the best ways to pick color. And yes, you are right. I think that many different types of designers would agree with you on matching color to style, shape etc. Great explanation. I learned a couple of things here that should save me some head ache. One last thing. There are guys (with teams) like Troy Trepanuer who keep putting out awesome cars. They or whoever they work with just seems to have a natural flare and experience for color matching to a style. Some of the best rides are just mild mods with great accents like the color.
