Pickup Truck Headliner/Sidewall Help

Got a 41 Chevy Pickup with absolutely no interior cept for my seats. I'm wondering what I can use to make the headliner/sidewall. There are so many curves I'm not sure how to do it. All the articles I've seen are based on headliners for a car. Only ideas I really had were to use 1/8" board for up to below the window, cause that's a simple curve. Then find some way to mold over the roof area all the way down to the back wall. Please help me out there.

headliner

Just a suggestion. visit a stereo installation place. They fabricate a lot of custom boxes and panels for speakers.

Check back thru some of the post that Willys36 has done. He made a cardboard mockup, then 'glassed the headliner. If he jumps in here I'm sure he can show you the thread. Nevermind waiting on Willys...Here is the link to his Project Journal that has it in there. Clicky here

Kevin's right ... Willys36 shows the way to do it.

You want to make 2 panels for each door and sandwich them together -- the first panel has the holes (drill them through the panel and into the metal of your door so they match perfectly) that take the staples/clips that hold the panel to the door, and the second panel gets glued over that (to hide the bumps that would show through from the staples/clips) ... THEN you cover the "sandwich" with foam and vinyl and install it.

You might also research the threads over at Stovebolt.com for some great tips on these old trucks.
