Pics of an all original 1971 Impala

By all original i mean original paint, original vinyl top, completely original interior, this car could have rolled off the assemply line a few years ago. It has been garage kept since new but has been neglected in the fact that it has never been washed or waxed. Only 80,000 original miles on the odo, and it runs like a brand new car. It is a one owner car, the original owner still owns and maintains it. She asked me to do a complete detail for her. I spent two days buffing original 1971 chevy light green and i learned a lot from the experience. The interior cleaning was much easier, i just gave it a quick dusting and a vacuum and it looked like a brand new interior. All of the work was done in early April. The damage to the front fender was done by an angry bull when the car was still brand new.

Very nice. I used to have a '71 Impala for a company car. The company made me replace it when it had 92,000 miles on it (standard trade-in mileage was 65,000 at the time) and I really hated to see it go. It was a great car and held up very well considering that i lived in upstate NY at the time.

This car drives very well, i drove it on the highway to return it to it's owner and it rides as well as any new car that i've driven. I recently drove an 05 Cadillac on the highway and this 71 model Chevy matches it for comfort(as far as the suspension goes). Handling was an option that this car didn't recieve when it was made, but as far as straight line comfort goes this car cannot be beat.
