pics of my "new" mustang

this is the 1964 1/2 mustang that i recently traded my 62 caddy for. its not bad, i had to do a little cleaning/painting on the motor and the brakes and few other things, but i'm starting to think that it was a good trade.
what do you think of the car?

(doing the wiring)
(170 -- 6)

and a pic of the old caddy

Beautiful. I wouldn't change the colour either, you don't see many bright red mustangs around, they're usually green or black or white.

Chickie.

SMOKIN'

That thing is in pretty good shape. Looks like they just black-spattered EVERYTHING in the engine bay though. The radiator and cap look like they were sprayed along with everything else. Same thing with the shock towers. You can see inside the top of the towers where there's still some rust inside.

I'd take a GOOD look at the frame. Make sure he didn't just paint over everything else that might need some attention.

Interior and body paint looks great. Wish my old engine looked that good.

I prefer the Caddy too, guess my age is showing. Thats was a pretty sweet Cadillac you had...imagine the number of girls you could fit in the back seat!

New projects are always fun though!

i actually loved the caddy, it had been in my family for about 12 years, but it had a lot of rust and i couldn't get rid of it. the mustang on the other hand, i think is a little more easy to sell.

the paint in the engine bay is all my doing. i'm not done yet, but since i'm selling the car, i wanted to hide a little of the mess under there so i sprayed flat black over everything .

Hehehe man you better hope the buyer doesn't think you meant to 'hide'some rust

So I take it you're not planning on keeping it then eh?

Don't spend too much on it.

I like Bud-23's front spoiler. Those things look mean even on the coupes.

Call me nuts all you like, but I never was a big fan of mustangs. I was impressed by DMorris's mustang, that was pretty slick, but mustangs in general don't get my knickers in a twist.
