Pics of the Spider

Finally got some old old pics uploaded ... the red interior pics is from another Fiat Spider ... however that's how mine used to look .. the dash was cheap aftermarket wood .. cracked dashboard ... worn steering wheel .. so the black with aluminum was something I did a weekend

The pics of the car outside was before we moved to another place .. where I finally have a garage

Click my profile .. and see the pics uploaded .. not sure how I attach them here

trying it this way

And the interior doesn't even look this way

anymore ... it'll be more customized than this

My buddy and I bought two Fiat Abarth Spiders from and old guy while in the Army outside of DC. His was a Black 1961 with the stock engine and mine was a Red 1962 with The Osca performance engine in it. The Osca was also a four cylinder but had dual overhead cams, dual Weber's, split exhaust, and a close ratio 5 speed. They both were fast but Mine would regularly whip up on the Austin Healey six cylinder cars. The downside was that any eng/trans parts had to come from Italy. Other than that they were a lot of fun.

I saw a lowered one the other day with a hood scoop...for a brief moment I thought it was a Tiger.
