They're doing this on a few other forums so i thought i should start it on here. Heres how the game goes:
I'll start with the first challenge (ex. Your car on a bridge), then whoever posts the first picture of their car doing the challenge gets to pick the next challenge.
Rules:
1. No illegal activities!
2. Must be YOUR CAR.
3. Must be YOUR picture
4. Put the challenge in Bold type so it's easy to see.
5. If the challenge isn't done after 24hrs, then the person who wrote the challenge must change it.
6. You cannot do your own challenge.
7. Must be a new picture, not old ones that happen to fit.
Pretty simple but it's fun!
So here it goes! Challenge: your car at a gas station
Absolutely, THAT is the point, to get that photo asked for. I do have a few favorites of mine with my truck next to my elementary school that my dad, sister and brother all went to that is now knocked down and condos there that I took in 1980.
Then another with my 31 year old son sitting on the running board in front of another school when he was 3. That one is up on the wall of a restaurant here in town.
Heck I even have a few shot in the parking lot of my high school in 77.
My point is, we can do this in seconds, posting old photos. The fun of this thread is go get out and take a new one upon request.
It's fun, we have seen some cool shots done in the moment.
I may have mentioned this here before. But on that note of everyone having different taste I was watching my wife pick out a blouse once and she was passing up all these blouses on the rack like they were crap looking for this one (she is very hard to shop for, I gave up on clothes years ago) and it hit me. SOMEONE is going to buy all those other blouses. SOMEONE is going to come in and grab one of those ones that she hates. So wouldn't it make more sense to buy the blouse that you DON'T like so you look good to the people who are looking at you? LOL, just a thought.
Hasn't anybody found a bloody school yet OMG! How hard is that!!! I might have to do something about that this weekend. I got a ripper of a challenge in mind for the next contestant when I get in LOL !!!
THIS is what we have been dealing with the past 2 days. Until Tuesday, most of the yard was snow-free, except for the drifted/plowed areas. There is a school 5 miles away but none of my cars are out of hibernation yet. Is it REALLY April 12th ????
Man is it different for each of us. It just is so amazing how different it can be. I'm driving to work everyday in a convertible. But I haven't got the beautiful views you have. Listen, appreciate it, it is so beautiful looking out that window compared to looking out mine at a purple house across the street. Be thankful you have that glorious view!
Thread jack.........this is the view straight off the porch towards the road and neighboring homes. Minimum lot size is 2 1/2 acres. Yes, the view is nice but the grass needs to be green by now, not WHITE. Brian, you probably have 6-8 homes on that size lot.

I just did the math, how about 17.5 houses on that 2.5 acres! And that is in this old neighborhood where the lots are much bigger than newer developments! There is a little lot near me that was tiny, quarter acre at most, they put 6 very large homes on it. There is six feet from the sliding glass door to the fence!
And yes I really have a purple house I have to look at across the street from my house.
Alright, got the school pic!
Hope this ones not too hard, if it is, let's know and I'll change it. I have to use capitals, cause my iPad can't do bold text...
PIC OF YOUR RIDE NEXT TO (OR REAL CLOSE TO) A HIGHWAY PATROL CAR
There you go, cool! A photo with a Highway patrol car.......
Wow, that may not be easy, at least for me. But let's see what someone can do with it. I sure like your car, what is it exactly?
Crap too! That's what I thought, just thought it would be a cool photo...I reckon I could just about do it, pull into the local cop shop, pull up right beside one and SNAP! ....they might be on my case then for a bit LOL
Ok let's tame it down, MACDONALDS DRIVE THROUGH WHILE COLLECTING YOUR ORDER
If I had to guess, I'd have said the yellow one was an Opel! We just don't see too many Holdens around here so we are just not familiar with them enough to know anything about them.
Of course that may change as more and more of them become disguised as "American cars" like the last muscle cars from Pontiac before the Tin Indian line went extinct, and the newest Chevy SS just coming out now.
GM is finally getting smart and using the best of their products from wherever it was designed instead of trying to do 100% clean page for every single model in each market!
Man that's beautiful !!!! What's the drive train? I love em like that! Don't like them when they all 'poofed up'.. Your car puts a big grin on my face!! Thanks!
Engine is a '73 350 4 bolt block. Mild build ~350 hp~ Still has a powerglide trans although it isn't the original. It DOES retain the original 12 bolt axle with 3.31 gears but not a posi. Long range goal is a 5 speed trans but I keep buying more cars instead of investing the money in the ones I already have I had a 200r4 built for my '38 and the TH 350 in that will go in the Camaro for now.
