Pictures from "Back to the 50's"

Just a shade over 11,430 cars registered this year. Amazing show and these few pictures don't do it justice. It's so overwhelming, with literally thousands of magazine quality cars, that it's hard to even know where to point the camera.

More from the 50's. And no, the 55 Chevy is NOT an optical illusion.

I think the fire truck was my favorite of this show. It's not only hand built...it's out of Wisconsin.

If you're a T-bucket fan, there were tons of them. The white one has two SBC's. The purple one isn't my cup of tea in terms of color, but I had to have this shot of the front suspension. Very interesting. The other shot is just the beginning of a line of buckets that just kept going, and going, and going.

I was at the Father's day hot rod show at Borcharts speed shop in Milwaukee. Nice stuff but around 500 cars, I can't even imagine over 11,000. We were sweatin our butts off from the humidity so we kinda raced through.

Maybe the 55 Chevy was a 4 door but he really wanted it to be a 2 door

Nice pics, especially the buckets.........
