Google "cragar center caps"..... then click on "images". You will find some there.

If you go to Google Image and put in simply Crager SS you will get lots of pictures of cars, like these.

I ran those on a lot of my cars. I think there were two knock off styles, though I don't know if they are both still made. On one style, the center of each ear had an opening. On the other, the ears were solid... like in these pictures.

New Cragars are not the same as the old ones, now they come from China

The Cragars that are on the '46 dodge truck I just picked up are I think from the 70's. My family used to race dirt track and these were in the shop (forgotten) along with the piles of steel race wheels. So my aunt told me I could take them. Not too bad a shape but will need a little love to look good again. But they are straight and no cracks.

I see a couple of pics with the spinners on them. And I looked thru 20 pages of google pics and only a hand few there too. Just trying to use what I have and make them a little more....I don't know, something. I like the idea of the spinners, or maybe small spikes or something. Thanks for the help with the search. I already have skinny steelies in the front(original 46 dodge). Maybe I should try and trade the cragars for a set of wide steelies for the back. That is how I enviosned the truck in the first place. Painted to match the truck, Black lug nuts, and black spinner caps.

I was hoping to see sometihng like that with these cragars. Just hard for me to see them on a hotrod. I see these wheels more for muscle cars.

Josh

Aren't the tri-bar spinners and spikes on center caps illegal now?
I remember reading something to that effect a few years ago,
regarding rodders getting ticketed for running them. I'm thinking
that this may be a federal law.

The logic was that if a tri-bar came loose in an accident, or even by
a tire hitting a pothole, it would turn into a "ninja star" and endanger
other drivers or pedestrians...

I know of no such law. On production vehicles they were outlawed in 1966 but for personal use, I don't know of a single law concerning them.
