MTV's new show Pimp My Ride will be doing a girls 65? Mustang. From the commercial the car is a total beater, hole in the floorboard, different colors, etc, etc, etc.... Ya'll know how an old car looks right? I think it will be intresting to see what West Coast Customs will do to it. I will be watching, if I can remember...

From what I've seen of pimp my ride, they just put some kandy paint on there and toss on like 26 inch rims, and exhibit is like "that's off da HOOK!" hopefully they won't do that to the stang! When's the show going to be on?

on the preview.. they show it shotting flames..

The dont put 26's on the cars that mtv pimps..

they are cheep the biggest ive seen them give away were 18's..

and that was on the majority of the episodes.

i think they will do this mustang old school.. these guys do have some style.. if they didnt how would they be big?

The only complaint I have about that show is WCC's bodywork ability...Everything I have seen has had some terrible bodywork done to it. And they feel that they have to put water in everything!

Youve only seen them give away 18's? You have obviously only seen the first episode cause just about every other rim they put on has been 20 plus and given the car a six inch lift.

They have style? There idea of custom is to show off their fabricating and electronics skills with a bunch of gaudy tacky crap like a fish tank, river, shoe rack, etc. The only reason they are big is because they know electronics and big rims. All the "ballas" in the rap world bring their "whips" to them.

Thats true, did you see the big paint run on the cutlass, and wtf, were they using window tint to make the racing stripes on the civic?

I don't remember what the car was now but I was flipping through and caught the paint job. It was white and they were scuffing up the original paint with some coarse sand paper, and then they just painted right over the old paint. The guy even pointed out some areas that were flaking off and mentioned that you had to get all the flaky stuff off before you paint over it. If some of the paint is flaking now makes sense that the rest of it will start to flake shortly. That is one of the dumbest shows on TV.

I hope they don't put park bench wing on the mustang.
