Pinion angle question (4 link)

I'm restoring a 56 chevy and installing a parallel 4 link suspension. I have lowered the car to a 4 inch ground clearance. In doing so, my pinion sits a bit higher than the transmission tunnel. I figure I'll have to definitely have 2 driveshalfs. The difference from the transmission center to pinion center is a guesstimated 5-6 inch difference. Can the angle of the pinion be straight forward or will I have to tilt it down a bit. If so, how much (in degrees)?
