Pinion Shaft retaining bolt

I am looking for a pinion shaft retaining bolt. Does anyone know the quickest place to order one from. It is for a 72 GM 10 bolt. My whole project is on hold as the old bolt snapped while taking it out and it took me three hours to drill and retap the carrier housing. Any info would be great. Thanks

Just one thing to think about is that usually the bolt breaks because of clearance developing between the carrier bore and the pin. I realise you said it didn't have tell you were removing it but it had probably been weakend by the the stress of the pinion shaft moving around. A new pinion shaft may fix this problem but oftain it is the pin bore in the carrier that is most of the problem.

When I broke the retaining bolt while servicing an axle I just went to the local Chevy dealer, when none of the local auto parts stores didn't have one.
