Looking for a site that lists general information on engine pistons by Part number, Bore size, Compression ratio, Dish or Dome size, or for that matter, any other means of identification. Aside from going to each of the manufacturers sites, i'm hoping someone has a general listing of some sort. Wishful thinking, no doubt.

I didn't google any of this but "Wishful Thinking" is probably right, there's most likely a million piston part numbers...just for sbc's. I would hit the Federal Mogul/Speed Pro web site just to get an idea.

KB has a good site for reference too- but only for their pistons.

Piston Identification and Specification
Thanks for the response, i've got a few sets of pistons that have been laying around the shop for some time and would like to put them to some sort of use besides as landfill

You could always just measure all the critical specs too... Don't need the part number if you know all the dimenions, the alloy composition would be unknown (could guess off of a penetration test) but for most engines piston volume, bore size, ring specs, and comp ht. are all you need.
