Post pistons

I disassembled my AMC 258 I6 and the bores are in specs, block does not need bored, just going to hone it. 5 of the 6 pistons are reusable. The piston out of #1 cylinder had some crown damage, nothing major(cylinder bore is good) but I don't want to reuse this piston. Is it okay to replace only one piston and reuse the other 5 or should I replace all 6 with a matched set just to be safe. I've seen this done by others and done it myself before and the motors ran fine.

Just wanted to get your opinions.

Most likely you aren't twisting that Rambler up too high or going nuts with it. Replacing just the one would be my decision if it were mine. If you are worried, have it balanced. Those 258" engines make pretty good torque and are very smooth. (make sure you find an exact match for the piston, balance should be pretty close if the weight of the new piston is close to the original)
