Pitman arm

I am converting to power steering on my 70 Blazer 4x4. It has a 8 inch super lift installed. Can I use the pitman arm off the manual steering box?

I don't think you can. I do know that some of the power steering pitman arms are different than the manuals.

8" is alot of lift to be usign the stock steering parts. Might not be a bad idea to go with an aftermarket drop pitman arm for the steering anyway. 4wd steering boxes have 1/4 of the sector shaft splined and a pinch bolt holding the ptiman arm on. Is that how yours is? If so I bet they will interchange.

While you are converting you might also want to look into "crossover" steering. You need a 2wd sector shaft and different pitman arm for that. I just finished converting my 71k5 to crossover.
