wanting to find some ivory plastic paint to paint the plastic parts in my 83 malibu. i got good feed back on ivory fabric. is there an ivory plastic paint or not. i saw krylon ivory at walmart today and was wondering could i use it on my plastic parts after i use adhesion promotor or not. i also wanted to buy some kick panels with 6.5 speakers but i dont know if they make them for my car year. will it be hard to cut wholes in the back side pillars to put 6.5 in there also.

Check with your local automotive paint supplier for SEM products. SEM comes in spray cans and is hands down the BEST automotive plastic paint out there. Most every color is available.

I think the Fusion (Krylon) is available in ivory, NOTHING sticks to plastic like Fusion! I have used it on trim parts, plastic lawn furniture, computer cases and quite a few other items, that stuff works.

Sem makes Color Coat aerosols, #15603 sailcloth white is what I would call ivory, or you can also get SEM products, either Color Coat or Sure Coat, color matched to your fabric. You need to use #38338 scuff and clean followed by #38353 plastic/leather prep before you spray. (you will have to have a spray gun for the color matched stuff.) Check with these people. If you send them a sample of your fabric they will match it exactly, in any quantity you desire. www.vinylpro.com
