PLEASE answer quick
Have a 1987 chevrolet suburban 4wd. The ignition locked up and rocking the steering wheel does not work. Any info would be helpful.

Most likely the the tumblers in the lock have fallen. You need to replace the lock cylinder. They're usually around $10. you'll need a steering wheel puller and a lock plate compressor. Most parts store will loan you these for a returnable deposit.

or you can just break the column and stick a screwdriver in it if its a real piece,
