Please help. 1985 EL Camino.

Hello I am new member, would like to find out what would be the best&simplest engine to put in my 1985 EL Camino. It now has a 305 in it and needs a lot of help. The car will be just a driver and stored in winter. Dont have a lot of experience in installing motors so probably will have someone do it. I really don"t care about gas mileage as Iam retired and I have a lot of time on my hands. I also like to keep my cars neat and clean, something I might like to take to car shows. Iam 68 years old but I still like my cars. Any information you can give me Would be greatly appreciated, thanks again and have a good day. dsteenblock@mchsi. Known as chevy best85

Welcome to the site. I would find a 350 or you could go the crate engine route.
