it sounds like it is air locked , start be replacing the fuel filters, and then take a wrench and break the fuel ines loose at the injectors, and crank the engine until fuel starts spraying out of the fuel lines,(you might notice only 1 or 2 lines at first, tighten them and keep cranking , until more start spraying and then tighten them ) and then try and start the engine. make sure your battereys are fully charged

I did that! Well it ran out of fuel on the road so I had 2 gallons of fuel in a can and primed the system just to get it home but the next day it just would not run if it does its just for a second.
The only fuel I can get out of the injection lines is drops but shouldn't it squirt out?

6.2 diesel.

HI,if you go to DIESEL PLACE . COM, there you will find
MUCH MORE info than you can use,i would take top off of fuel filter, pull filter, pull small screen under filter, using a turkey baster, pull all fuel out, clean fuel filter housing GOOD,leave filter out, replace screen, fill filter housing half full of CLEAN diesel fuel, leave top off, attempt to start,if no start, crack injection lines,.if fuel is present at cracked lines, replace filter and put filter and housing together open drain on top of housing, put clear hose on drain ,attempt to start ,look for bubbles,if bubbles present, you have a pin hole in the fuel line.

does your truck have a mechanical lift pump or a electric lift pump, you may have a bad pump. try disconnecting the fuel line after the fuel pump and cycle the key for the electric pump or crank the engine for the mechanical pump, too see if the pump is pumping fuel
