Post Please help with horses

I have posted before about the same topic i think but i was wondering if anyone can tell me a ball estimate of what my 350 sbc has in power. I got a few performance things done to it. It is a 350 with 305 heads bored 4.000 over flat top pistons and a cam that has these specs. (.50" 204/214 duration cam lift- .281/296 & lobe center 110/110)
and a q-jet carb. dynomax headers with 2 1/2 inch pipe k&n air filter and 350 turbo trans.

i dont know why everyone get so caught up in power #s they dont really mean anything. what do you run in the 1/4 or the 1/8?
when you race on the street do you usually win?
this is what matters.

if you are that concerned with it there should be a dyno place somewhere in your area. around here it costs about 60 bucks to get done. personally i would rather spend that 60 on going faster, but that is just me. tuning can be done at the track. a dyno cant tell you 100% what you are going to do, because you are in a controlled environment. have fun with your american muscle, those #s are just to sell cars and parts.

Let's see...hmmmm...a 350 bored 4" over gives us 1400 cubic inches!!

WHEW! I'd say she will haul some bacon! Where did you find pistons for that combo? I imagine the cylinder walls must be pretty thin about now!

If I had to give an estimate of the kind of power your making I would say Don "the Snake" Prudhomme must be pretty jealous about now!

I'll say 1000HP. :p
