i found some info 64-65 used a 25 spline that snapped so they went with a 28 spline in 66. my case is 24" so it must be a fairlane,galaxy,or a murador due to the offset of the shifter for bigger body style, my best guess.

Yea i have a old 3 speed trans out of a 68 fairlane i had, it has a similar shifter setup on it. With the long tail also but someone some time down the road changed it from a column shift to a floor shift and put the offset shifter bracket on it . Cole
