Try Moog K772 ball joint for a Chrysler..Some apps include 65-73 dodge and chrysler and 80 monaco . (that would mean KRUZR's 72 challenger is the same also ).I think it is the Chrysler upper ball joint that they use in both arms on a MII.

I have one of those at the shop that I can measure iffin ya want me to.

later, mikey

Kruzer & Mike,Thanks for the replies! Mike I'd like you to check the dimensions if you have time. We've been looking for a lower ball joint, I didn't know they used the upper in both applications.
Thanks again, Fred

yours ---------------------------mine... moog K772
Lengths;
OAL- 4.18" --------------------------------- 4.25
Cup length-1.62" ---------------------------1.595
Taper length-1.44"---------------------------1.4
Thread length-1.12"-------------------------- 1.1

Diameters:
Cup @ threads-1.84"---------------------------1.84
Top of taper-.72"----------------(big end) .712
Bottom of taper-.62"------------(small end) .610
Threads-.56" ------------------------------------.56 (9/16-18)

As all of the critical measurements are within .010", I'd say you are good to go with that K772.

Now, when I said that the uppers and lowers were the same, I was referring to the ones that I have seen installed in the upper AND lower aftermarket tubular arms, from several different mfgrs. That does not mean some company has not done it differently, I have just not seen it.

So I will clarify, the MII stock arms do not use screw in type.

(I know if I didn't say something about that, in 2 years someone will join the board and ressurect this thread just to call me on that point.)

HTH,

Mikey
