please paint my truck for me
 

i've gotta paint it. its my daily driver, and hideously deformed from the paint damage. the pictures make it look better than it really is.

im kinda torn between four paint schemes.
1. black top half (grille, hood, and the hood seam back) bright frigging orange bottom.
2. same as above, only sublime green bottom.
3. again, same as #1, only semigloss on the top and gloss black bottom
4. back in black.
5. any other tasteful ideas that y'all may have

gonna paint the handles and bumpers body color, if at all possible.
what im really going for is just a clean, muscular look. kinda a vintage (1969/1970) trans am look.

so heres the pics i have. they're dirty, but its cold, and im too lazy to wash trashed paint. at the bottom is a sketch i had a friend do to kinda show me, but im not visual enough to see it on a real truck.

I wouldn't go bacl as far as the '60's. I'd paint it like a 1978 Aspen Super Coupe.

Flat black hood and roof. Dark Sable Brown or the Crimson Red Met lower separated by a blue and red stripe.

thanks. i gave a lot of shots just for something to work with.
as far as the super coupe idea, i just cant do it. i want something either more sinister, or more "please arrest me, Mr. Officer". ive owned one brown car, and i just dont like em. that, and my fiancee would laugh at me.

any picture you want me to do it on, and how bright orange are we talking here?

any picture that will work for you. whole side would be preferable.

as far as the brightness, i was actually thinking either chevy hugger orange, or the orange that ford is using now. so pretty bright.

wow. that is cool. i messed around with photoshop for like three hours and never figured it out. you have some talent there, man.
and i wonder if hockey stripes would make the bed look absormally long or not....

thanks again for this. and if you get bored in the future, feel free to try the green, too. but if i go green, ill have to get a shaker hood....maybe a spoiler, etc..

so what do you think of the orange?

I really like the orange. I tried going brighter only to get black splotches on the pictures not sure why. You want me to go ahead and do a green one? Personally i think it would look great with black hockey stripes.

ifyou feel like going green, please do. ive already got some green paint left over from the race car. (yep. our race car is sublime green. and its a vette.and my dad picked it!) and is it hard to do the hockey stick? if it isnt, feel free to throw it on there.
