I will and did, however it is useless the fat cats of the USA , everyone in the government benefit from this and the rest of us just suffer. All these foreigners just help them get richer and just puts Joe American furtherer in the hole, causes our taxes to keep rising as the takers keep coming. We get no benefit from these people that have ruined their own country and now want to come here and have us live in the squaller they have left behind. Just look at the diseases that are starting to pop up, ,from these infected foreigners, TB is just one example. The USA as most of us have grown up in is about to CHANGE and not for the good of the American people. I have decided not to vote anymore cause things never change for the good, I am done caring and am just going to watch my back and be very careful who i let close. We are not living in the USA we need to be in the survival mode as if at war, and in a way we are. This same problem was highlighted in Miami Fla 40 years ago and everyone went on saying to the Florida folks, you are over reacting. Now I ask the USA who was over reacting and who is the fool NOW.

My wife and I have been calling and emailing Congresspeople and Senators on a regular basis about this amnesty and forgiveness fiasco for months. With our NY national representation, Hillary and Chuck Shumer and a newbie, Kirsten Gillibrand who have, in 6 months, done nothing positive towards this problem, wonder if these duly elected folks are really representing the majority of their constituants or have their own agenda. The Democrats are only looking for more low economic group votes and the Republicans are still licking their wounds from the last election and playing defense.

We can only hope reason prevails - but I'm not betting on it.

One of these days I am expecting the government to send some one to re-engrave the sign at the bottom of the statue of liberty.

If corporations and companies followed the law there would be NO jobs for the "illegals". Either be legal and work right and pay into the system or get on home. But as long as the rich and mighty want to save money with cheap illegal labor......

I give my city props for at least attempting to do something about the problem, since the federal government can't get its head out of it butt. http://www.lacrossetribune.com/artic...3wisaliens.txt I am all for punishing businesses who hire illegals, If they couldn't come and work here and make money, that would cure a lot of the problem right there. How come it seems this country often treats immigrants better then the people who have been citizens here there whole life? When I go into the grocery store and feel english is a second language, that is a serious problem.

Not that we are "full up" per se.

Why let these people come over illegally, take advantage of legal taxpayer benefits, send 75%+ of their illegally earned money back to their country of origin, be treated better and seem to have more civil rights than those of us that were born here, or came in legally????

I personally have no issues with those that want to make their lives better.
I have issues with every one of them that have no desire whatsoever to embrace our customs, or support our country.

I can fault no woman coming here to give birth--to give her offspring a better life.
I don't think it should be a welfare pass-----deport 'em all after giving birth, and allow the offspring to return when they come of age.

We should not be teaching classes in school in anything but English.
If you have no desire to learn it----go home

Someone here for 15-20 years---productive---not living off the state---not convicted of any crimes---deserves some compassion

Come to America, get a legal job, buy an American car, support OUR economy. Not the economy of the country you came from.

there are two sides to this story. 1st of course, better life in the USA

but second and most importante, life in messico is a total mess, run by white/spanish liniage or french even (i've been told) politicians who couldnt care less about the average mexican. they WANT THEM TO LEAVE! mexico should be forced economically by us to fix their own GD country or else be INVADED BY US AND MADE A STATE (how many times do i have to say this!!) then they wouldn't have to come to the US, they'd already be here. plus we'd have all their oil and beachfront property!!! should i run for Prez again?
