plug help? 350 chevy block.

Right above my timing cover on the block there is a hole. What is that for and if it isn't used what size plug and thread size and what sealant is best to use on my screw? Thanks Dans

1/8" NPT. It is an oil galley drill hole. Can be used to monitor oil pressure at the front of engine.
