plug wire location sbc/with headers

is there a factory install for plug wires under the headers I have a 78 monte carlo w/ 350 sbc... this would help when adjusting the valves to have the plug wires out of the way, someone told me that possibly Lt and Ls motors have a OEM harness or wire loom that sends the wires under the headers. I have checked a few web sites but nothing yet. If anyone should have a place or know if this info is correct please send a reply...... thanks ROB

Most late eighties smalblocks were routed this way so wires for a say 89 camaro with 350 would give you the right wires. AS far as looms or brackets may have to junjyard hunt or make your own.

I usually disconnect the plug wires and remove the plugs to adjust the valves.
Helps when turning the motor over, also the plug wires are then out of the way.

My Camaro had the wires under the headers when I got it but as previously said the looms all cracked up, and the wires were permantly filthy.
I went to over the valve cover looms but they got in the way and looked plain ugly.
This is my last setup, all the wires are together and I can release them as one to get the valve covers off.
