plug wire question

Hey guys getting ready to order some parts through summit. Was getting some taylor pro sprio plug wires for my 75 chev 350, noticed that they say male hei for connection for the distributor end. Not sure what that means, I see on the cheap $15-25 wire sets that they say stock for dist end. Just wanted to ask so I don't end up having to send these back if they are not the correct end.

These are for an HEI distributor. It's a large dist cap, coil in the middle (no coil wire as other caps - only the 8 plug wires) and the dist cap connections are like spark plugs. Looks like http://www.opgi.com/p/engine-electri...1/CT20181.html . I've always had good luck with Taylor.

Ok, yea I have an hei. The thing that is throwing me off is they say male hei connection and it seems that the hei has the male connection and the wire should be a female?

My last set came with both, but I bought the "universal" set which allowed me to fit each wire in a nice Made For You loom instead of having that usual ratty birds nest, especially on Chebbies
