Plug Wire Suggestions

Anyone have any input on plug wire selection? I am currently using Mallory 8mm, but they are in need of replacement and I'm not sure how much value there is going from a $40 set to a $90 set. I'm running a 302 with TF aluminum heads, a fat cam and Mallory HP no point ignition setup.

Thanks!

I ended up with a set of Moroso wires. Previously, I tried using a set of AutoZone wires, then a set of Bosch wires (both supposedly good quality). Both were junk. Got a set of Morosos, and have had no problem at all.

Not good luck with Taylor or Accel spark plug wires.

Good luck with GM and MSD and Prestolite.

I used to use Moroso wires, but with upgrading the spark box for Racing, I started getting crossfire. Went with Taylor "409" wire on both engines and haven't had a problem since. If you walk around the pits, at a drag strip, you'l find most of the serious racers use Taylor.

We use Taylor wires on our sprint cars, no problems yet. But we run a mag and not a distributor.
