Post Plumbing

As part of my project, when i have my 57 Chev p.u. down for the front clip. I would like to install a frame mounted cooler,Filter, and a gauge. This would be in line with the current remote (in front of the raditor) cooler. My raditor is a "desert cooler", and does not have cooling lines to it.
What would be the correct plumbing for this. Tranny to frame cooler to raditor cooler to filter to gauge? Does that sound right?
Thanks Slider in Wa.
