I'm in the process of plumbing my new compressor, I got 3/4 galvanized pipe. I'm using T Plus 2 teflon sealent on the threads I was wondering if this stuff is going to screw up my water seperator/paint hose?

might be best to not get any to close to the end of the pipe like a thread or two.

use the same principle with Teflon tape leave it back a thread or two and you will never get any loose tape clogging up a valve ,check valve or a screen

pipe dope will weep a little when it gets warm(i think)

good luck

Off hand, I think not. Since the line will be pressurized, I don't see how anything could migrate in. I'd also try to keep the sealant away from the begining of the threads and only on the threads that are going to be engaged.

tape it

For a air line,, I'd just use the tape, keep it back from the end a thread or so and you'll be good to go. It's only air for pete's sake,,,
