Pneumatic Staple Driver

I found this site as a result of a Google search for a like-minded individual.

I'm looking for a pneumatic staple driver that used to exist but has gone the way of the dinosaur. The infamous Bostitch T28-7.

I would also like to have the associated 1/4" narrow crown staples (in any available leg length).

Thank you,
-kj

Best bet would be to check ebay and your local craigslist.

Agreed

I've done both. I have notifications set up if any are posted or listed for auction.

I have a narrow crown stapler and my local lbr yd stocks the staples..See em at lowes or home depot all the time so unless you just need to have that particular unit a narrow crown stapler can be had..

Correct. I purchased a CHG00100AV at Lowes. This unit will drive staples from 3/8" to 1 1/4". Therefore I'm lacking the capability of driving 1/4" and 5/16". Lowes carries two of the sizes but only on quantities priced and fit for a large army.

I have found the staples at a handfull of retailers (meaning each retailer has one size each). Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, EBay, Craigslist, Ace, Google searches....

So now I need three different staplers to cover my needs.

Granted: I've had to educate myself with respect to crown size, leg length, guages of staples and of course crown type. Honestly I'm a bit overwhelmed by something that should no be that difficult.

I've even called the corporate headquarters of Bostitch/Stanley (and talked to multiple people in different departments). As it turns out with my less than expert knowledge, I've been educating them with their own products (or lack thereof).

staples

I wanted a few staples for my BEA gun , On line the minimum qty was 50,ooo. several times more than I would ever use. I took several construction nail guns to a full service shop in the salt lake area, They repair all kinds of air tools, Up here near Yellowstone the locals only repair the type of tools they sell, and thefull service shop had small qty boxes of the various staples I needed.

Its good idea to take construction nail guns to service shop and it solved your full purpose of getting staples.
