A poem I wrote.........

I put it in this forum cause it's about hotrodding 'art' , right ?
O.K. - first the story behind it ...
I was restoring the 79 T/A in my avatar pic and my boss at the time told me that there was a 79 T/A in his yard , and I could HAVE it !! Well , turns out that besides some good trim pieces and some interior stuff ,the rest was HURT!!! All the glass was broken , the windows had been part way down for a couple of years and there was mold on the carpet , etc. . so what did I do ? I spent a saturday takin it apart for what I could use. Well worth it in my eyes.
anyways... here's the poem:
Free T/A
what can be saved of this pile of rusted metal?
The ghost of a once great machine.
Little pieces of unobtainable things ,
out of reach to most of the world.
Trash to one man is sweat for another.
If you were to seek out these parts ,
the dollar amount would be large....
but who would want this heap?
A crazy man?
or someone with a deeper need for the pieces?
Necessity breeds determination.
Which in turn calculates your motivation.
Thereby fornicating upon your.......
Nevermind - I got lost......
But they mean something to me , so it was worth it.
Goodbye , Saturday . It was nice to see you.

All my other poems rhyme , so this one is different , even for me.
I just figured maybe you guys could relate to this .
Everyone else just looks at me like my dog , all tilted head and question marks in their eyes !

Feel free to comment , good or bad- I can handle it.

I really like it. Reminds me of fixing up some of my old cars! Keeping them from the crusher!

Thanks!
