I have to change the points and condensor on my 69 falcon
can i do this at home with simple tools--I dont have a dwell meter or anything just have the average tools---screwdrivers,sockets and all that stuff just no meters or anything besides a circuit tester--anyway can i do this on my own?
if not how much should i expect to be charged?

Alot of the old schoolers used the thickness of a matchbook cover to set the gap on the points.
You could also pick up a cheap feeler guage from the parts store when you go to buy your parts. They run about $4...everything else you can do with simple hand tools.
Good Luck, and Merry Christmas.
Later,
WEIMER

Unhappy

Not enough info as to six banger or 8 cyl. point gap for v8 is .021 I am not sure about the 6 but I think it is about .016 ask sales clerk at the parts house for the specs. It is a very easy task screw driver is all that is needed for the condenset and points. plug gap is .035 I think
