i just purchased a set of used pro star wheels, i've attempted to polish them with semi-chrome and they are looking better but i still have water marks etched in them. any ideas on better ways to polish these?
A cheapo buffer and aluminum polish will do wonders. I have brought back wasted wheels to shine. Takes time and keep the polish wet. Add water as needed, it works. I never tried by hand, too much wax on wax off for me!

It really depends on if they are polished aluminum, machined aluminum or even chrome plated steel. just look for the best named brand polish and see what it is made to polish. Steve
Try some California Custom polish. It's a two part polish, A aluminum Deoxidizer and a metal polish. works great.
