i just purchased a set of used pro star wheels, i've attempted to polish them with semi-chrome and they are looking better but i still have water marks etched in them. any ideas on better ways to polish these?

A cheapo buffer and aluminum polish will do wonders. I have brought back wasted wheels to shine. Takes time and keep the polish wet. Add water as needed, it works. I never tried by hand, too much wax on wax off for me!

Will that work on the ole IROC wheels? I think they have clear coat over them. I like them , but sure need to clean them up.
