pontiac 400 Intake manifolds

I have 2 manifolds and was wondering which is better. I'm buildind a 400 and have a 1975 Intake manifold and a 1968 Intake manifold (both 4 barrel). The engine is going in a 68 firebird.

There's really no difference in flow, I'd prolly use the '68, just because.

What year are the heads? The heat crossover is different starting in '72.

If you're unfamiliar w/Pontiacs, here's a short article explaining what you need to know about the intake heat x-over.

I do disagree w/his assessment of the flow quality of the later intakes- it's been pretty much disproven that the "D"-shaped secondaries of the later intakes causes any loss of flow. The EGR isn't an issue other than the appearance of a block-off plate as far as I'm concerned, either.
