Post Pontiac rear

I have pontiac rear from a firebird with dis brakes. The calipres on tihs rear has one in frount of the wheel on the pasenger and one behind the wheel on the driver side is this right?

I don't think so, I have a trans am and both of mine are in the rear, but it could be a different setup or rear, or year or rear so not sure
