Poor Thing...

I kinda felt sorry for it, so I brought it home with me.
I know,I know, I have too many as it is right now, but I couldn't see it just sitting there all by itself getting neglected like it was.
Here are a couple of pics, sorry they are so dark, but I took them at night last night and forgot to take daytime pics of it. i will do that tomorrow.
BTW, it runs great, has decent tires, new battery, quiet exhaust, rebuilt topend, and a good heater...$300. Now I don't have to borrow a truck from anyone(quite the inconvenience) to run to Lowe's/Dump or especially the BoneYard
p.s. I know it's a Ford, but if I don't tell the S10 or the Jag they won't know. Maybe they can talk it into a Chevy-heart transplant one day
Later,
WEIMER

no offense but if you saw it sitting there neglected the right thing to do would be to put a bullet in it and end its misery.

The engines that came in them were not all that good, but the body/frame is as tough as a Toyota.

Around here $300 is a deal on a truck with no engine.
I could get $1000 for it in a few days no problem.

Is it a 4cyl or V6?

Oh, Weimer you have sinned, the Chevy Gods are frowning upon you. On a side note, I always have had this knack for bringing home cars, but you my man, you have a problem

Thumbs up BUILT FORD TUFF

If it has the 300 CID, you have a very tuff engine. I had a '79 with a 300 in it and I could not wear it out. My son had to kill it by falling to sleep at the wheel. It onlyhad 250+ K miles and ran like a top. I like Chevys also but I prefer the Ford Truck. I currently drive an '03 F-150 XLT extended cab with the 4.7L v8.

I drive my little ranger. MUCH MUCH better than the newer S10's i think. More power, i think it looks better, But the old rangers suck. Mines a 2001.

Nice find man.

Weimer has seen the light....

now that you have a ford, and don't forget, jag is ford, you'll be ready to get rid of the s10 in order to do it again with the right truck. hate to see you waste all that dough on the chevy though, i hope you get some decent money out of it for your time.... and being a chevy, you know theres some bozo just waiting to pounce on it.....
