POR-15 Epoxy Putty

I have searched the forum and only found a reference to repairing a steering wheel with the POR-15 Epoxy Putty. The drip rails on my steel body were new but not primed very well. After a year of sitting in a pole barn, the metal has showed some light pitting and a couple pin holes on one side. The other side has plenty of primer and looks fine.

I saw an ad in the TP tools catalog where the putty was recommended for fixing this kind of damage. Has anyone else used this?

I used it on some small repairs on my Bronco. It works real good. YOu put it on with water and when cured it is very hard. It must then be either sanded or ground down. Form it to the shape you want while it is wet.

I just used some of it on my firewall and it worked out pretty good IMO. Sanded it out yesterday and the only problem I had was 2 places where it had a very small separation where I had sanded it down really thin. There's pics in my journal starting about entry 36 or 37,,,
