Portable Garage / Carport

Hey I am looking to store my third project for a year or two. The garage is full with other projects. I just picked up a 71 Monte Carlo on a whim, it was a deal I just couldn't refuse. So I took it.

I have plenty of property to store it and I figured I would cover it with tarp until I bought all of the parts but that just held in the moisture. So I want to buy one of those portable garages. I have looked around and Pep Boys seems to have the best deal. What do you guys think. It is made by ShelterWorkz and has zip up walls and looks pretty sturdy. It is $229.00 with a $30.00 mail in rebate total $200.00. Model number 23573/MACGAR04S. Does anyone have this model if so what do you think? I wanted to get one of the rounded ones where it covers the whole structure (best for snow) with one sheet of poly. I live in the mid Atlantic region.

If you have another suggestion or source I would appreciate it, I am not looking to spend more than $300.00. Thanks

Dave

Watch the wind on those things. My uncle has one of those cheaper carports. I think it is anchored in concrete and it has been there for a couple of years. Never really looked real close, but I don't think my uncle would put up crap.

I'v got a shelterlogic from www.shelterlogic.com, there hotter than the blazes in the summer, but nice in the winter ( 70* with no humidity ). had it 1 season, so far so good. had a 2 year warranty on the tarp. the anchors are hurricane anchors, once driven in, you cannot pull them out. 4 is nessary but we put in 6 of them.

I bought a WeatherPort carport specifically for the snow load capacity. I've stayed in one of their tents in Alaska and was amazed by how much it could take.

Here in the rainy northwest I put up a sears carport tent. Before setting up the floor less tent up I layed some blue tarp for the floow to keep the moisture level down. It was better than setting outside exposed but needed better ventalation. Mine was up about 7 years with 3 tarp patches.
