Positioning of Chevy scripts on 56 Bel Air
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know of, or indeed have, a template for the correct fitment of the Bel Air script and crest that fits on the rear quarters of a 56 2 door sedan? I have replaced the quarters and am now in the position of refitting these items and want to make sure i get them roughly in the correct place. Many thanks P

Contact either yearone.com or Danchuk.com they will have the dimensions for proper placement. I believe there is a book that gives the dimensions.

Check out Classic Chevy at www.classicchevy.com, they should have the tech books you want, and phone numbers of tech hot lines to talk to someone who may help.
Just to add to what I said earlier. Classic Chevy has the books you may want. They have a Passenger Car Instruction Manual the shows every piece of the car and how it's put together.
