positraction on eaton rearend

Does anyone know if you can get positive traction on an Eaton HO-33 single legger in a 59 apache pick up?An old rodder told me you could put in a Z spring and it would push the axle gear in,but would this work or is that about the same as welding the axles like on a jeep?

Happiness is a tight possi

What would the z spring be doing if there are no clutches in there to push on. I'll bet someone makes a posi for that, if not, I put a 78 firbird rear end in my '59, it is the exact same width, easy to get gears and posi for, makes it a 5 on 4/34 bolt pattern too for better rim selection. Try 4 wheel parts wholesalers, they prolly gots one.
