I have a 37 Ford Tudor. The owner before me put in a new floor. He arc welded a new floor right over the original floor that was rotted out in the front. There is alot of oil canning now. Is it possiable to lay down a layer of sound deadening, a layer of 1/4" plywood, and another layer of sound deadening?? I would screw the plywood layer down threw the floor into the added on frame work It should take care of the oil can problems.. To remove the floor that is in there now would mean taking it off the frame and flipping it over to cut it all off.. Not going to happen..
