Is it possible to.......

I wanna put lettering on my mudflaps. Is there any way to maybe use stencils or maybe use some sorta big sticky paper and cut out lettering and spray paint letters on? Any ideas? I called a vinyl lettering place but they said on the thick rubber flaps they wont hold up well. Wat if i used a clear coat of some kind? HELP SOS tnx hg

This is going to sound hokey, but do you know anyone who ScrapBooks? My Wife does, and there is a machine in the Scrapbook World called a Cricut-

She uses it to make Signs of all sizes (along with a bunch of other, um, sissy stuff- )-

You can either make Signs, or Stencils with it, and it can do about all of the different fonts and sizes-

If your flaps are flat you can have a sign shop print on vinyl even in full color. Then have them laminate them and apply them to your flaps. Make sure they use a permanent adhesive vinyl like 3m or avery. It's the same procedure as doing a vehicle magnetic sign.

By the way, I've had a Sign shop make a template for me (to put a Company Logo on our Trucks), and it worked well-the only downside was the cost
