possible pics on floor work

I am currently building a 1952 chevy. This car until I got my hands on it was originally a four door stocker, now it's been chopped 6 inches and the body shortened to a 2 door. The floors were totalled in it which is ok because it's going to get a slight body drop. Also in this senario is the body is going to be hung on an s10 frame. My problem is that what I think is the right way and what is the right way are two different things. Here goes i'm trying to mount some floors to the body, I think 1x1 inch square tubing is okay but i'm not sure? also where would this new set up mount to possibly the inner doors, lower pillars etc etc . Any help or posted pics would be greatly appreciated.
