They probably wish they could. Fuel consumption is something absurd like 6.5 oz fuel per cylinder per single cycle.

Of course the pay-off is a staggering 5,600,000 ft.lb torque at 102RPM

I've seen a 12 cylinder version of this power plant and it is staggeringly huge.
